The results of our anime ships and couples ranking for 2024 are also out, and you can see who was the favorite couple or ship of the year below. The nominees were the top 5 characters from each of the season, including the results for:
A total of 35,414 people voted in this category for the best boy, with Anna Yamada and Kyotaro Ichikawa from The Dangers in My Heart Season 2 taking the win. This was the couple’s second yearly win in a row, as they also won the title of Best Ship of the Year in 2023. The two went from a ship to a couple in the second season, with which the anime also dominated our rankings and took 13 awards in Winter 2024.
This year, both Anna and Kyotaro also won the titles of Best Girl and Best Boy of the year.
The couple had a sizable advantage over its closest followers, which were Frieren & Himmel and Fern & Stark from Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End. You can see the full results below.
