It has been officially announced that Akira Ishida, known as Akaza in Demon Slayer, will voice Ant King Beru in Solo Leveling Season 2. The announcement was made following the Episode 11 broadcast in Japan.
Akira Ishida is easily recognizable as many popular characters. Some of them include Akaza in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Gaara in Naruto, Katsura Kyotaro in Gintama, Fyodor Dostoevsky in Bungo Stray Dogs, and Regulus Corneas in Re:ZERO.

A new pick up battle video was also revealed after today’s episode, showing the fight between the S-Rank Hunters and the Ant Queen. The title of the episode is “It’s Going to Get Even More Intense.”
Ahead of the release, Episode 11 of Solo Leveling Season 2 was leaked. Atsushi Kaneko (@kanegone_1006 on x/Twitter), an anime producer for A-1 Pictures, reacted to the leaks, calling out the people involved and saying that there were borderlines that should not be crossed.
The anime adaptation of Solo Leveling, based on the webtoon by Chugong and the late DUBU from REDICE Studio, continues to deliver exciting battles. Adapted by h-goon, the story follows Sung Jinwoo, once the weakest hunter, who starts leveling up in a world where he is the only one capable of doing it.
We are now in the Jeju Island Raid arc, arguably the most hyped arc of the show’s second season, where Beru is the obvious main antagonist and a new opponent Jinwoo will have to beat.
